The best hair care for different hair problems

There are a variety of hair problems such as dryness, breakage, split ends, etc. The causes of these problems can be divided into two main categories. There are two main causes: lack of moisture and lack of protein in the hair.

Both moisture and protein are essential for maintaining healthy hair, so a lack of either can easily cause problems. This is why it is important to choose a hair care method after identifying whether moisture or protein is lacking.

Andrew Fitzsimmons, a charismatic hairstylist who is in constant demand from celebrities such as the Kardashian/Jenner sisters, singer Madonna, and model Adriana Lima, will teach you how to tell the difference.

Andrew Fitzsimmons, who also produces hair care products, explained on Bustle, "Depending on what your hair problem is, you can tell whether you are lacking moisture or protein," and revealed the proper way to care for your hair depending on your problem.

Hair breakage and hair loss: Protein deficiency

If your hair lacks elasticity and strength, or if you are suffering from hair breakage, hair loss, or thinning hair, it is a sign that your hair is losing protein.

Andrew said, "Hair protein can quickly become deficient due to a variety of external factors, such as hair color and bleaching, regardless of the original quality of the hair," and explained that it is more easily lost than moisture. The lack of this protein compromises the strength of the hair, resulting in a lack of elasticity, breakage and hair loss.

In order to address the hair problems caused by protein deficiency, it is important to supplement the deficient protein. One way to do this is to use hair care products that contain keratin, a type of protein, but many experts recommend taking in protein from the inside out, such as through diet.

Andrew said, "I recommend increasing the amount of protein in your diet or taking supplements. According to Dr. Nicole Rogers, a dermatologist, you need to take in at least 40-50 grams of protein a day.

Split ends, dryness and lack of shine: Lack of moisture

If you have problems with setting your hair, such as heat styling that falls apart quickly, or if your hair tangles easily, or if you notice dryness, lack of shine, or split ends, it is likely that you are lacking in moisture.

According to Andrew, a lack of moisture in the hair can be caused by heat from the hair dryer, UV damage, and dry air, which can lead to long-lasting styling and dryness.

To address this problem, it is important to adopt a care regimen that moisturizes the hair and prevents it from losing moisture. It is recommended to use hair care products that contain oil-based ingredients such as argan oil, olive oil, castor oil, or hair care products that contain silicone. Andrew also recommends choosing a styling product that protects your hair from UV rays.

If you've been obsessing over your hair care routine and not seeing much results, you should reevaluate whether you're taking care of your problems.
