An LED mask is a facial beauty device for home use that uses LED (light emitting diode) light. The red LED light stimulates the production of collagen, which makes the skin more supple, while the blue LED light removes bacteria that cause acne and soothes fine lines, wrinkles, and inflammation.

According to Christine Smith, the facialist in charge of Bella, she first used LED as part of her esthetic treatment, but when she used an at-home LED mask on Bella while she was traveling, she found that it minimized the fluctuation and discomfort of her skin. Now, she uses LED masks without fail even when she is traveling and cannot get a facial.

Incidentally, Bella uses the Omnilux Contour Mask from the US LED facial brand Omnilux.

This LED mask is very popular among celebrities for its ability to treat fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and redness, leading to a healthier and more youthful appearance. The brand's website recommends using it three to five times a week for 10 minutes each time, and the effects can be felt in about four to six weeks. It is also FDA approved and has been endorsed by dermatologists.

Unfortunately, Bella's favorite product, Omnilux Contour Face, does not ship to Japan, but there are a variety of home LED masks on the market in Japan, so if you are interested, this is a good opportunity to check them out.
